Abstract :
Thesis titled role of local water company (PDAM) in the liquid waste management as an effort to manage water pollution the city of Surakarta based on Surakarta?s local regulation number 3 of 1999 with legal matters of how the Surakarta city PDAM Surakarta role in the management of wastewater as a water pollution control efforts in the city Surakarta is based on local regulation number 3 of 1999. And are there any obstacles faced by the Surakarta city PDAM in the management of wastewater as a water pollution control efforts in Surakarta based on the local regulation number 3 of 1999. The purpose of research is to find of out the role of Surakarta city PDAM in the management of liquid waste as water pollution control efforts in Surakarta based on local regulation number 3 of 1999 and to find of whether there are any obstacles faced by the Surakarta city PDAM in liquid waste management as an effort to control water pollution in the city of Surakarta based on local regulation number 3 of 1999. Empirical legal research is a research focusing on people?s behavior as the data is descriptive analytical problem solving by illustrating or describing what the people as respondents said both written and verbal also real behavior which were inspected and studied comprehensively. The conclusion of the result of research is that the role of PDAM in the management of liquid waste as an effort to control poluttion based on local regulations number 3 of 1999 has been running well yet not maximized despite of various constraints.
