Abstract :
The Role of Immigration in order to prevent the trafficking of women and children in Batam, Andrew GA Pelealu, this thesis titled role of immigration in order to prevent trafficking in Batam city, the purpose of this study was to determine the role of immigration in order to prevent trafficking in persons, especially women and children in Batam city , knowing the constraints faced by immigration and how to address the problems faced by women in connection with a trade, knowing that efforts be achieved by the immigration office to overcome these obstacles Batam, Batam immigration Office has play a role as well in terms of preventing trafficking in persons where Batam immigration office checks documents related to passport printing both formal and substantive requirements, and also to coordinate with relevant agencies issued a letter of agreement with the person who will be dispatched to foreign countries.
