Abstract :
The financial performance may be measured by Tobin?s Q. The measurement of a company?s financial performance by using the Tobin?s Q may look simple; as a result, the Tobin?s Q draws many attentions from the investment circulation. The investors and the analysts look for simply similar indicators in order to explain the complex relationship between the economics and the business. Tobin?s Q as the measuring indicator of financial value have been widely implemented in the financial researches, especially the ones that focus on the problems of company values. The research was performed in order to analyze the financial performance of the companies operated in the sector of consumerism goods listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2000-2013. The results of the research showed that the financial performance of the companies operated in the sector of consumerism goods listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2000-2013 might be stated as a good one. The reason was that the value of Tobin?s Q from the sampled companies had been bigger than 1 (Tobin?s Q > 1
