Abstract :
The circulation of psychotropic seems from the juridical aspect is the validity of its existence. However in fact the use of psychotropic is still often misused and consumed as object of business and has impact to the activity that destroy mental, physical and psychic of youth generation and has impact to the more increase of the incidence of psychotropic. The purpose of this research was to know how the management of Police of Republic of Indonesia towards the illegal circulation of psychotropic and to know whether there any barriers to the Police of Republic of Indonesia in coping with the illegal circulation of psychotropic. This research used normative research by testing and studying secondary data. The result of this research shows the role of Police of Republic of Indonesia in conducting legal enforcement towards the psychotropic crime has very strong influence towards the legal effectiveness of psychotropic in order to enforce the legal regulation, thus it can be created the public order and social order. The legal enforcement in conducting its role has direct role into society by conducting construction, give consolidation towards psychotropic or psychotropic crime, however in conducting its role, the legal enforcer also has or face some barriers in conducting legal enforcement towards psychotropic crime. The suggestion can be submitted is to conduct the role of Police of Republic of Indonesia in the effort to eliminate the psychotropic crime, thus the Police of Republic of Indonesia should be supported fully by the facility that support or the sufficient cost to conduct its role in overwhelming the psychotropic crime and in the role of society it needs to develop thus the apparatus of legal enforcer of Police of Republic of Indonesia can be more effective in eliminating the psychotropic crime e.g. psychotropic misuse and illegal circulation.
