Abstract :
Legal writing is titled Indonesian Broadcasting Commission's role in tackling violence in television broadcasts. The formulation ofthe problem consists of the first two, namely how the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission's role in tackling violence in television broadcasts. Secondly, the constraints of the Indonesian BroadcastingCommission in tackling violent broadcastson television.The legal writing using this type of normative research, the data source of the normative legal research is secondary data were used as the maining redient. The methods use dinanalyzing the data obtainedin this studyis aqualitative analysis. Intackling the role of the Broadcasting Commission of violence in television broadcasts there are two: first attempt Indonesian Broadcasting Commission must make arrangements, supervision and development of procedures for broadcasting to fit the laws that have been set. Secondly, the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission should give sanction toa reprimand and television stations broadcast if there is a violation.
