Abstract :
Living consideration in the process of granting permits and monitoring in batik industry is the most fundamental to the issuance of a permit or licensing industry. It is also considered important, because industry growth is not only a positive impact on the State foreign exchange, but also the negative impact to society caused by the activities of industrial pollution. Thus, it is necessary to anticipate how the consideration of the competent authority in granting permits and supervisors to the perpetrators of industrial activities, especially the batik industry in the city of Yogyakarta. The purpose of this research is to create development and growthminded local environment or development that are ecological. This type of research method used is empirical legal research, which focuses on licensing considerations and implementation supervision of the batik industry. That environmental considerations in the process of granting permits and monitoring in industry is the ecological aspects of attention or integrate importance level decision-making environment in which strategies by the competent authority in this form of organization of the Environmental Document.
