Abstract :
Corruption is a crime act that could harm the country economy. In Indonesia, corruption has been increasingly practice and even spread into all aspects of life either at the local or central levels. Corruption is called an extra ordinary crime because its practice has resulted in people?s poverty and suffering. In this era reformation, criminal punishment for the corruptor is developing in line with the bringing out of the plea for the pronounching of] death penalty for corruptor although in fact is still in pro and contra situation. The imposition of the death penalty for corruptor to scare and provide a deterrent effect on corruptor, so that people?s who had intended to commit corruption was afraid to do it.
