Abstract :
The title of this thesis is ?THE RECYCLING OF SEGIRI'S MARKET GARBAGE AS THE CONTAMINATION PREVENTION OF KARANGMUMUS RIVER IN SAMARINDA?.The research problem in this thesis is: How the recycling of Segiri's market garbage as the effort contamination prevention Karang Mumus river in Samarinda, and also the obstacles in recycling the garbage market. This research is empiric law research which this research focus in people behaviour law. The data resources consists of primary and secondary. The recycling of garbage has been regulated in Act No. 18 of 2008 and Samarinda?s Local Regulation No. 2 of 2011 which the activities are planning, implementing, reducing, and handling the garbage. The conclusion is the Local Regulation of garbage recycling in Samarinda has not maximally yet, because of there is none of sorting and some of merchant still put the garbage in Karang Mumus river. Need for increasing the number of janitors and add trash fasilities, tougher punishment and consistent with the merchant who throw garbage in the Karang Mumus river.
