Abstract :
Aksara Bali is one of the Balinese society cultural heritage which has its own advantages. Aksara Bali is often used in religious ceremonies in writing its instruments. Balinese writing also has a unique form between one and another. Therefore, the development in modern era needs a media to introduce Aksara Bali to the community especially in Bali in order to be easy to read it. One way to conserve Balinese culture especially in learning Aksara Bali is how to teach it to the young generation since early stage. In order to conserve Aksara Bali, information technology could be used by utilizing the smartphone system based android operation to help users in recognizing or reading Aksara Bali using Bali Galang font. The result of this study was an Augmented Reality application. Therefore, it was expected that the users could read Aksara Bali in virtual way with a marker pattern in every word by using Bali Galang font. This software was built using and utilizing the features from library unity vuforia service in order to detect Aksara Bali into latin letter and web service as a tool for users. The development of this software have success level in recognizing Aksara Bali writing marker in every word by using Bali Galang font.
