Abstract :
The title of this thesis was "Civilian Protection in Darfur Armed Conflict in Sudan". The problem in this thesis was the application of civilian protection in Darfur Armed Conflict based on International Humanitarian Law. The parties of the conflict tend to disobey the regulations about civilian protections in armed conflict. The research method was a normative legal research. The data of this research collected by library research. The collected data analyzed by qualitative method. From data analysis it could be concluded that during Darfur Armed Conflict, civilians did not get any kind of protections that they deserved as have been ruled in article 3 of The Fourth Geneva Convention 1949 and Additional Protocol 111977
