Abstract :
Advertising actually gives a contribution for district government of Sleman Regency. It would come to the disadvantage if it is done illegally. It is necessary to hold the district government role in law enforcement efforts to the advertising permit violation in order to not arise the negative impact for the society. The problem which is appointed within this research is about the effectiveness of sanction imposition for the advertising permit violation in Sleman Regency, the problem which is faced in order to streamline the sanction imposition for the advertising permit violation, and the effort which is done in order to streamline the sanction imposition for the advertising permit violation. The type of research that is used is kind of juridical empirical legal research with qualitative data analysis method. In implementation of sanction imposition for the advertising permit violation in Sleman Regency is not effective, although there is an sanction. That thing is not decreasing the amount of advertising permit violation. The problems which are faced are coordination function with the relevant agencies that is not going well, the society disorder in licensing. The effort to solve the problem is to build a good coordination with the relevant agencies, to do the socialization to the society, to formulate a policy in licensing of advertising This research recommends that the government of Sleman Regency does the coordination intensively and socialization to the society so that the law enforcement can go along effectively.
