Abstract :
The title of this research is the study of safety protection for officers
charging money at automated teller machines (ATMs) as a result of fraud occurs
during the running of the job. Officers charging money automatic teller machine
(ATM) is one of the jobs that have the risk of accidents and the risk of becoming a
victim of crime because they brings large amounts of money. Article 86
Paragraph (1) of Law No. 13 of 2013 on Labour provides that "Every worker /
laborer has the right to the protection of: health and safety, morals and decency
and treatment in accordance with human dignity and values religion ", but
according to the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration (Manpower) in 2003
recorded 12.745 more companies violate safety and health norms. The number of
cases of violation of norms of safety and health quite a lot, so the authors would
like to discuss about how to work safety protection against officers charging
money at automated teller machines (ATM)?, from the discussion aims that
workers can feel safe in the workplace. Safety work protection problems often
occur, because the company did not provide personal protective equipment (PPE)
to workers, the company is required to provide personal protective equipment
such as protective clothing (kevlar vest) and safety shoes. In addition to providing
personal protective equipment (PPE) company must also urge the driver and the
officer to conduct medical tests on a regular basis, and perform machine
maintenance vehicles. The Company strongly urges drivers and officers to comply
with traffic regulations at work.
