Abstract :
Employment law governs the rights and duties among employers and
workers. It is referred also as labor law. Pachage of rules that primarily designed
to keep workers safe and make sure they are treated fairly. Balancing rights and
duties and also to protect employers? interests as well. A particular employment
relationship that governed by contract such as honorary city cleaning services
also the object of labour law. In Local Government Yogyakarta, labour law
problem also happens. Specially for workers based on contract such as city
cleaning services. Low wage, over time, and working safety become main
problems happen in developing region like Yogyakarta.
In this study we will learn how labour law should works for workers and
Local Government Yogyakarta as an institution. Because no matter how it
seems, city cleaning service workers have the same rights as other formal
occupations, they have duties and rights equal.
