Abstract :
The police should give rehabilitation for children who are who are becoming victims of crimes of violence so that they could get their rights as a victim of crimes and also not harm or constraint the growing and developing children especially for children?s mental and psychological. The legal issue within this legal writing is how the police make serious efforts in giving legal protection and rehabilitation for children who are victims of crimes of violence and what could be the constraints or barriers of the police in giving legal protection and rehabilitation for children who are victims of crimes of violence. Kinds of research used by researcher normative law research, which is done by field in observe library materials in order to collect secondary data. The source of data in this legal writing is from the study of literature and interview. Methods of analysis us is qualitative analysis. Reasoning process that used is inductive method. The conclusion of this legal writing is that legal protections given by the police are processed by conducting an investigation and inquiry. Kinds of rehabilitation given by the police are social rehabilitation and medical rehabilitation. Barriers or constraints coming from the police in giving legal protection and rehabilitation are general constraints and constraints of the victim.
