Abstract :
Indonesia is the country that have high number on human trafficking case. The Police of Indonesia have to deal with this problem. This is the reason why the writer choose to write about Role of Regional Police of Yogyakarta to Solve the case of human trafficking. The legal issue in this article is about how regional police of Yogyakarta deal with human trafficking case and whether the obstacle that regional police of Yogyakarta have to deal in this case. The type of this research that used in this research is the normative legal research. The source of data in this legal writing is from the study of literature and interview. The research take location at the regional police of Yogyakarta headquarter. Analysis method that uses by researcher is the qualitative method. Reasoning process that used is inductive method. The kind of role of regional police of Yogyakarta have to do to solve the human trafficking case is the pre-emptive, preventive, and repressive efforts. The Obstacle that Regional police of Yogyakarta in this case is about the society doesn?t care that much about this case, the less human resources in regional police of Yogyakarta have ,the low rating of education in the society, and regional police of Yogyakarta have a trouble in getting the correct report, the weakness in coordination system with another law enforcement.
