Abstract :
In writing this paper the author discusses the coordination and supervision by the police against a civil servant investigators (investigators) in the interrogation of criminal damage heritage buildings in Yogyakarta. It is in the background, with many heritage buildings were damaged and missing. This study aims to find out about how the process of coordination and supervision of the investigation between the Police and investigators in law enforcement against criminal acts of destruction of cultural heritage buildings. Barriers as well as the efforts made by the Police, Cultural Heritage Preservation Hall (BPCP), and the culture and tourism department yogyakarta against law enforcement destruction of heritage buildings in Yogyakarta. In an effort to know the law enforcement, Barriers and attempts to heritage buildings, the method used approach is empirical juridical. Reviewing and analyzing the problems defined legally with empirical facts objectively view. Then all the data available in the descriptive analysis. Based on the research results. Author obtain answers to existing problems. That many heritage buildings were damaged and lost is due to the lack of law enforcement on cultural heritage buildings. Responding to the facts - the facts mentioned above, the enforcement and legal protection of cultural heritage should be further enhanced in Yogyakarta.
