Abstract :
A child is a mandate and a give from God. In his or her own there is dignity and
prestige as a whole human being, and a child is also a ray of hope, a potency and
young generation who will continue the aspiration of the nation. Because of this a
child should get a chance as large as possible to grow and to develop physically,
mentally and socially as optimally as possible and to be a person who has glorious
character (morals). In developing his potency a child needs protection. This
protection, for example, can be given by a police to the child as a victim of physical
harshness at school. In doing this job a police often finds obstacles. In composing the
writing about law the writer uses normative observation, that is by studying the
current law. The protection that is given by the police to the child as the victim of the
physical harshness at school is by providing a certain place for him and giving special
protection to children that is facing law. So the person who maintain law, in
executing the problem of harness to a child as a victim of physical harshness must
pay attention to the rights of the child and the good interest for the child, so the
principle for the good sake of the child as it is explained in the law number 23 of
2002 about child Protection can be done.
