Abstract :
Children and teen in their schooling age are vulnerable to narcotics abuse as they are not only dynamic, energetic, curious, but also easily tempted and devastated. In preventing and eliminating narcotics abuse, Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN / National Narcotics Body) was formed. BNN is a non-minister government body that is positioned under the president and is reporting to the president. Badan Nakotika Nasional as an independent body is expected to work transparently and accountably in eliminating narcotics-related crimes. From the research that the writer has done, she concluded that the effort of overcoming narcotics abuse done by children from BNN is preventive. The efforts are in the form of prevention before any abuse is done and repressive countermeasure after any crime takes place. Whereas the implementation of Chapter 55 clause 1 Narcotics Legislation have not been done well as not every parent / guardian know about the reporting obligation of any narcotic addicts.
