Abstract :
The title of this thesis is Status and The Age Limit of Adopted Children In Inheritance Under Customary LawToraja Ma? Tallang After Government Regulation No. 54 Of 2007 about Implementation Of Children?s Adoption. From the title above, the purposes of this research are to know and analize the implementation of adoptions and the status of adopted children in inheritence under customary law of Toraja Ma? Tallang After Government Regulation No. 54 Of 2007 about Implementation Of Children?s Adoption. The type of research is emperical legal research is a research that focuses on the behavior of legal comummnity. The data sources of this research are primary and secondary data. The result of the research after Government Regulation No. 54 of 2007 is that Toraja?s local people are still conducting the children?s adoption which does not limit the age of adopted children. Moreover, the status of adopted children in inheritance is equal with the status of biological children. The inheritance itself is conducted through ma?tallang process.
