Abstract :
Ahmad Faizal Bhakti Islami, The Effectiveness of the Use of Audio Visual Media in Study Islamic Education and Ethics Class VII A and B in SMP Negeri 14 Yogyakarta. Thesis. Yogyakarta: Islamic Religious Education Program, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Alma Ata University, Yogyakarta 2020. Junior hight school education objectives will be realized when the teacher is active and creative. One of the teachers do is to optimize the use of existing media such as audio visual media. This aim of this reserch is to determine the use and effectiveness of the use of audio visual media in the study of Islamic Religious education and ethics in SMP Negeri 14 Yogyakarta. This research is a quantitative study with the type of experimentation conducted in SMP Negeri 14 Yogyakarta class VII A and VII B which amounted to 68 students. Data is collected using tests. Tests were conducted on experimental classes and control classes to determine their achievements. The analytical techniques used to test the hypothesis are normality test, homogeneity test, and t- test. The results showed that: Audio visual Media that used in SMP Negeri 14 Yogyakarta is using projector in the form of power point and video. Based on the t- test results are known that the value of Sign (2 tailed) 0.040 < 0.5 or 5% then Ho rejected and Ha accepted, which means there is a difference between students of class VII A and Grade VII B to the achievement of learning Islamic education and ethics in SMP Negeri 14 Yogyakarta. So it can be concluded that the use of audio visual media is very effective. Keywords: effectiveness, Audio Visual Media, learning
