Abstract :
This analytical research determines the rate of corrosion in 5x5 cm steel plate.
Against HCl solution, vinegar acid, and pond water. To find out which corrosion
rate is the fastest, HCl, vinegar and pond water. Corrosion greatly impacts stell
plat/iron, for corrosion to occur it takes time. During this research, Corrosion
results were tested on 5x5 cm Steel plate. For a concentration value of 32% HCl,
95% vinegar acid, and pond water.
The way corrosion occurs that we examine in this research is a corrosion study
with comparisons using magnetic stirrers and non-magnetic stirrers.
This highest value for corrosion is the highest corrosion rate value for 5x5 cm
steel plate having the CR formula in HCl magnetic stirrer with a concentration of
32% with a corrosion Rate value of 3.29 mpy. And the lowest corrosion rate value
5x5 cm steel plate which is the CR formula for non- magnetic stirrer pond water
with a Corrosion Rate Value of -0.03 mpy.
