Abstract :
The aims of this research are 1) To find out what factors cause a decrease in the performance of the personnel of the Yogyakarta Regional Police of Ditreskrimum. 2) To formulate efforts to improve the performance of Ditreskrimum Polda DIY personnel. This research is a qualitative descriptive field research. The results of the research can be concluded as follows: 1) The factors that cause a decrease in the performance of the personnel of Ditreskrimum Polda DIY are efforts to develop themselves that have not been maximized; put office tasks ahead of their own interests; adherence to regulations is still low. 2) Efforts to improve the performance of Ditreskrimum Polda DIY personnel are providing motivation; provision of skills; compensation; promotion; increase and foster legal awareness and legal compliance.
