Abstract :
In the framework of good governance in the field of parking management services, good employee performance is required. Performance is a tangible result achieved by a person in carrying out the tasks assigned to him in accordance with the criteria and goals set by the organization. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of employees at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) Office of the Transportation Office in Sleman Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method where the researcher provides an overview to find out about: 1. The factors that cause the performance of employees at the UPTD Office of Parking Management are not optimal, 2. Why is the performance of the UPTD Office employees in Parking Management not optimal, 3. How is the performance of UPTD employees in Parking Management?, 4. How are the efforts to improve the performance of UPTD Parking Management staff. In this study, the key informant was the Head of the Subdivision of the UPTD Administration for Parking Management. The results of this study are as follows: Employee Performance at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) Office of Parking Management at the Sleman Regency Transportation Service based on descriptions, observations, interviews, and documentation that the performance of employees at the UPTD Office of Parking Management is in accordance with their duties and functions, but it is still not optimal because based on interviews from informants there are still unpaid retribution arrears and public complaints regarding parking management, employees who do not master information technology, are less communicative, lack understanding of duties and functions. So that efforts are needed to improve employee performance with steps, namely providing an understanding of the duties and functions of employees, including information technology training, excellent service training, public speaking training and providing infrastructure to support employee performance and minimize administrative errors, for example computers to make systems information on parking management services.
