Abstract :
This study discusses how workload and work motivation influence employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable for BPR Chandra Muktiartha Yogyakarta employees. This study aims to determine the effect of workload and work motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The sampling technique in this study is to use non-probability techniques, namely saturated samples. Respondents in this study were 62 employees of BPR Chandra Muktiartha Yogyakarta. The data analysis method uses validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, and path analysis with the help of the SPSS version 2.3 application. The results of the analysis in the coefficient of determination (R2) show that workload and work motivation affect employee performance by 24.4%. The rest with a result of 50.9% is the influence of the mediating variables of this study. This concludes that workload has a negative and insignificant effect on employee satisfaction. Workload has a positive effect and has a significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive effect on employee satisfaction. Work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable.
