Waziah, NPM 13450057. (2017). Social Criticism in the Human Earth Novel by Pramoedya Ananta Toer Review Sociology of Literature. Skripsi S1. Idonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program Faculty of Hamzanwadi Selong University Supervisor: (1) Titin Ernawati, M.Pd., dan and (2) Eva Nurmayani, M.Pd. Keywords: Social Criticism and Literary Sociology. The purpose of research is to know the social critism that is in the novel of human earth work of Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The problems that are studied in this research that is social criticism form and influence of social critic in society which depicted in novel of human earth by Pramoedya ananta toer. In this study is a type of qualitative research deskriptip with data collection techniques used area 1) reading, 2)record, 3) data grouping, 4) make a synopsis. The data analysis techniques used area 1) selecting data, 2) grouping, 3) identifying problems, 4) describing problembs, 5) analyzing, 6) collecting data, 7) concluding. The source of data in this novel shows that if the social criticism described is about the difficulties of gaining equality, recognition and getting his rights as a citizen and also the difficulty of obtaining equality in education, society and culture.
