Abstract :
This research have purpose to know (1) comparison of guide inquiry learning model and discovery learning model toward science process skill in ecosystem material at tenth graders of SMAN 2 MASBAGIK in the academic year 2017/2018, (2) comparison of guide inquiry learning model and discovery learning model toward science attitude in ecosystem material at tenth graders of SMAN 2 Masbagik in the academic year 2017/2018. This is an experimental research which used design The randomized posttest- Only control group design. The population of the research is all of tenth graders of SMAN 2 Masbagik in the academic year 2017/2018, which consists of 120 students. The samples of this research are tenth graders of IPA 2 as experiment class 1 and tenth graders of IPA 1 as an experiment class 2 which is determined by simple random sampling technique. The instrument is essay test with 9 questions and questionaire with 28 statements. Based on analysis result of one way ANOVA at a significance level 5% was found F-count (5,57) > F-table (3,998). It means that there is a difference significance between by the guide inquiry learning model and discovery learning model to science process skill ability. Further test result of post hoc scheffe showed that Sij (4,6985) ≤ MDij (5,5483) which means that students science process skill ability who got guide inquiry learning model is higer than who got discovery learning model. The result of quantitative questionaire result which used mann whitney u test, obtained Z-count (0,82) < Ztable (1,645), it shows that there is no difference significant between by guide inquiry learning model and discovery learning model to science attitude.
