Abstract :
ABSTRAK
Pengolahan limbah cair dikerjakan dalam IPAL ( Instalasi
Pengolah Air Limbah ). Dalam operasional IPAL diperlukan data
pemantauan kinerja IPAL dari parameter kualitas air limbah seperti pH,
suhu, oksigen larut (dissolved oxcygen / DO , daya hantar listrik, TOC (
Total Organic Carbon ), BOD ( Biological Oxcygen Demand ), COD (
Chemical Oxcygen Demand ).
tanaman lain yaitu tanaman Lidah Mertua.

ABSTRACT
Wastewater treatment is carried out in IPAL (Wastewater
Treatment Plant). In the operation of WWTP, data for monitoring the
performance of WWTP are needed from wastewater quality parameters
such as pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO, electrical conductivity),
TOC (Total Organic Carbon), BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand), COD
(Chemical Oxygen Demand) So far, monitoring the quality of WWTP has
been carried out by testing wastewater samples in the laboratory. This
requires a lot of time and money so that monitoring is ineffective. This can
be overcome by automating the IPAL quality monitoring system.
In the installed sensor automation system will take the parameter
data value which will then be transmitted via IoT. The monitoring results
are displayed on a computer that has internet access. With the data from
the monitoring results, the operator can determine what actions to take to
control the WWTP process. Because the data collection process at WWTP
was not possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic conditions, so data
collection was carried out using other plants, namely the In-Law Tongue
plant. This monitoring system uses four sensors, namely soil pH, humidity,
water pH, and temperature sensors that are connected to NodeMcu. The
data obtained is sent to the IoT application.
From the test results, this tool can work well and can display data
on soil pH, humidity, water pH, and temperature found in
phytoremediation plants in IoT applications.
