Abstract :
EFFECT OF NONI EXTRACT BOTANICAL PESTICIDE ON PEST CONTROL, GROWTH AND YIELD OF PECHAY Kasno 12011041 ABSTRACT The research was aimed to find out the most effective concentration of noni extract botanical pesticide in controlling pest, and could give the best growth and yield of pechay. The research was done in Gunung Bulu, University of Mercu Buana Yogyakarta from January until March 2017. This research was a single factor experiment which was consisted of 7 treatments, i.e. noni fruit extract with concentration 30%, 40%, and 50%, noni leaf extract with concentration 30%, 40%, 50% and chemical pesticide as control. All treatments was arranged in completely randomized design (CRD) and repeated 3 times. The results of the research was indicated that the application of all of noni botanical pesticides did not significantly different on parameters of pest, growth and yield of pechay. However, the extract treatment of noni leaf in concentration 40% tended to give the yield of pechay as good as chemical pesticides treatment.
