Abstract :
Waqf is a form of practice that plays an important role in social and economic development and improves people's welfare. The Harapan Ummat Foundation is one of the waqf institutions that has received legality from the Indonesian Waqf Agency to run a waqf management program. This research was conducted toexamine and analyze the role of the Harapan Ummat Foundation in managing cash waqf for the welfare of society. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach, which is a type of approach used to cover and understand an event or problem that occurs by collecting various data which is then processed to find solutions to solving problems that occur. The result of this research is the Harapan Ummat Foundation which is a Waqf Management Institution that has had a welfare impact on the community and turned it into a guideline for waqf through money from Law no. 41 of 2004 and DSN MUI Fatwa No. 2 of 2002.
