Abstract :
In the development of an increasingly modern and increasingly advanced era, each individual is required to have speed in obtaining information. Accessing the internet network, information technology, and communication will accelerate the search for information. In accessing information and communication technology, internet services are needed, one of which is Wi-Fi. There are many internet service providers in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the marketing strategy for Wi-Fi ICONNET at PT Indonesia Comnets Plus (PLN Icon Plus) Surabaya. The research method used is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. In this study, data collection methods were derived from three sources, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The marketing strategy carried out by PLN Icon Plus Surabaya is push marketing which works with various parties, these parties are vendors, village officials, freelancers, marketers, PLN people, or setting up open booths at certain events. Another pull marketing strategy is conducting digital marketing, namely optimizing marketing strategies on search engines using the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) system, websites, online advertising, and social media.
