Abstract :
Fundamental analysis of the company has an important role in obtaining stock returns on investment, especially investment in the capital market. This study aims to analyze the effect of Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price Book Value (PBV) Earning Per Share (EPS), Return On Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE) on Stock Returns of financial sector companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2018-2022. The sampling technique used purposive sampling which obtained 28 non-bank financial sector companies as research samples. The data used is secondary data from financial reports sourced from company websites and the Indonesian stock exchange. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 26 software. Based on the results of the study, it shows that PBV, EPS and ROA partially have a positive and significant effect on stock returns of financial sector companies. Only PER and ROE partially have no significant effect on stock returns of financial sector companies. In addition, the results of the study show that PER, PBV, EPS, ROA and ROE simultaneously have a significant effect on stock returns of financial sector companies. The implication of this research is that companies can increase PER and ROE in order to attract investors to invest and can provide maximum stock returns. Meanwhile investors can choose companies that have high PBV, EPS and ROA to be able to get maximum stock returns.
