Abstract :
Business Identification Number (NIB) is the identity of business actors in carrying out their business activities. NIB can play an important role in the development of business activities, but there are still many SMEs actors who do not yet have an NIB due to limited knowledge regarding NIB. This practical work report aims to find out whether or not it is mandatory for business actors to have an NIB, find out the benefits and functions of NIB for business actors, find out how to manage NIB and assist SMEs players in managing it through Online Single Submission (OSS), as well as to find out the obstacles that are often faced in NIB management through OSS and its solution. The method used in this practical work report is a qualitative descriptive method. Data obtained through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The researcher explained the importance of having an NIB and procedures for managing NIB, helping SMEs actors in managing NIB through OSS, and trying to solve problems that occur when managing NIB through OSS. Later it is hoped that the results of this practical work report can increase the number of SMEs actors who have NIB so that it can facilitate business development. Keywords: NIB, OSS, SMEs
