Abstract :
CV. Hamba Indonesia Group is a trading company placed at Lamongan Regency, East Java which still survives with a manual accounting recording system in recording financial transactions, so that there is a big risk of losing records, the risk of recording errors, and the risk of lack of supervision in recording. This study aims to understand the process and technical preparation of financial statements using MYOB Accountingv18 on CV. Hamba Indonesia Group and know the effectiveness and efficiency of computerized financial transaction data processing. The method used was descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The results obtained are CV. Hamba Indonesia Group establishes accounting policies for general policies, cash disbursements, cash receipts, depreciation of fixed assets and inventories. Recording of financial transactions CV. Hamba Indonesia Group makes a list of accounts according to the company needs. Recalculation of merchandise inventory and there is an initial trial balance prepared by the company accompanied by a list of financial transactions and adjustment data for June 2023. Research on the application of MYOB Accounting v18 in preparing financial reports on CV. Hamba Indonesia Group has shown positive results, the company's compartments and partnerships found it helpful because the MYOB Accounting v18 application can produce financial reports faster and accurately than a manual system, making it easier to find out the company's performance in the current period.
