Abstract :
The rapid progress of globalization and technology has become a driving force for banking services, amid the development of information technology there has been an increase in increasingly sophisticated crimes that utilize banking technology systems. Banking crimes are often committed in various ways or modes, including through the skimming method. This final project will explain the educational strategy for preventing banking crime (card skimming) for customers of the Bank Jatim Undaan Surabaya Sub-Branch. Data obtained by using interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Based on the research results obtained, the education strategy of Bank Jatim Capem Undaan uses educational strategies directly and indirectly. Direct strategy by directly educating customers who come to the office, who are generally older individuals who have limitations in using technology. The indirect strategy by using digital poster media distributed through Bank Jatim ATMs and the Instagram media platform provides a more interesting and interactive way. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that Bank Jatim shows concern for the safety and security of customers and educates customers in a way that is easy to understand.
