Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to find out the significant effect of Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Allowance for Impairment Losses (CKPN), Size, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) on the Return on Assets (ROA) of Private Commercial Banks. Nationally listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population used is the National Private Commercial Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange totaling 27 banks. The sampling technique uses a census technique or a saturated sample. The analysis technique used is panel data regression using Eviews 6.0. The results of the study prove that Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Allowance for Impairment Losses (CKPN), Size, and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) together have a significant influence on Return on Assets (ROA). Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) partially proved to have a positive and insignificant effect on Return on Assets (ROA). Allowance for Impairment Losses (CKPN) is partially proven to have a significant negative effect on Return on Assets (ROA). Size partially proved to have a positive and insignificant effect on Return on Assets (ROA). Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) partially proved to have a significant positive effect on Return on Assets (ROA).
