Abstract :
In carrying out acts of kindness, donations are there to help people in need. The development of philanthropy has evolved to become all-digital, where the campaign activities are carried out with advertisements through social media platforms. The Youtube platform is one of the social media platforms where there are advertising features or ads, with this feature it is expected to be an innovation that can be applied in fundraising in terms of making donations. Various positive and educational content through advertising videos has been found and researched which has elements of alms or infaq and most importantly there is no element of force. The video ad is seen from the purpose of the fundraising, then analyzed based on the arguments of the Qur'an and Al-Hadith with the view of maqashid al-shariah. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a netnography approach. This study aims to determine and analyze the extent of online donations through the Youtube Ads platform based on the Qur'an and Al-Hadith and reviewed through the maqashid al-shariah perspective.
