Abstract :
Financial management is a person's ability to manage daily financial planning, budgeting, control and storage. Lifestyle hedonism is a lifestyle where a person is dissatisfied with what he has and prioritizes wants over needs. Financial literacy is a person's ability to make decisions in managing finances. This study aims to examine the effect of hedonistic lifestyle and financial literacy on financial management. The number of respondents from this study was 97 respondents who came from the city of Surabaya with criteria aged > 20-> 50 years who already had a job. Respondents were selected by means of purposive sampling. With data analysis techniques using WarpPLS 7.0. The results of this study prove that the hedonism lifestyle has no significant negative effect on financial management, while financial literacy has a significant negative effect on financial management.
