Abstract :
This research aims to examine the influence of career motivation, tax knowledge, financial rewards, professional recognition, and job market considerations on the career interest of students who join tax volunteers in pursuing a career in the field of taxation. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with 73 samples. The research sample was students who took part in the East Java DJP 1 Tax Volunteers for the 2023 period. The research instrument used a questionnaire with five Likert scales to measure respondents' opinions. The analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling?Partial Square (SEM - PLS). The research results show that career motivation and financial rewards influence the interest of students who
participate in tax volunteering in pursuing a career in the field of taxation. Tax knowledge, professional recognition, and job market considerations do not influence the interest of students who participate in tax volunteering in a career in the tax field.
