Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of self-control and financial management of the value of materialism against the student. By analyzing the financial management of the 106 students in Surabaya who have income (pocket money) less than two million dollars and spending less than one million dollars. This study uses multiple regression analysis programming with SPSS 11.5 for windows software to demonstrate the existence of significant influence between the variables of self-control and the value of materialism on financial management simultaneously. Berpngaruh positive and self control to financial management. Self-control and how the variables affect the value of materialism financial management. Keywords: Self-Control, value materialism and financial management.
