Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to know the influence of self-control, and future orientation toward financial management attitude and financial management behavior of family. Total respondents are 298 respondents. This study used the survey method by distributing the questionnaires to finances managing the family (husband or wife) who lives in Surabaya. The hypotheses testing used the Structural Equation Modellling (SEM) AMOS. The results are: self control toward financial management behavior of family has a significant influence, future orientation toward financial management behavior of family has a not significant influence, self control to financial management behavior of family has not a mediated by financial management attitude, the influence of future orientation to financial management behavior of family has not a mediated by financial management attitude.
