Abstract :
This study was conducted to determine the values of understanding of sharia, especially in Islamic banking practitioners in Bank Jatim Sharia units Surabaya. This study used a phenomenological approach. In carrying out the necessary research data to be used as a reference for discussion and data analysis. The data in this study were collected by interview and documentation related to the research problem. Once the data is collected researchers describe the actual state of the research object to explain how an understanding of Islamic banking practitioners to value-niali sharia. The final conclusion is the practitioner has to understand the values on the application of sharia financing and funding. One application in financing is to use the principle of profit sharing between customers in the profit distribution contract agreed at the time it happened. Application of the principle of sharing the different Islamic banks with existing products in conventional banks. On the financing applied to the principle of fairness, honesty, and transparency of the bank and the customer.
