Abstract :
Capital aspect is a very important in the world of banking, in addition to be used to develop a business are also used to accommodate the losses incurred. In a keeping the level of bank capital, Bank Indonesia as the holder of the monetary authorities in Indonesia define the rules of capital adequacy to avoid inconsistencies data inthe financial statement of bank. This study aimed to examine the influence ofthe financial performance on capital adequacy. Research conducted on banks that have gone public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012-2014, was taken from the Indonesian Capital Market Dictionary with the method of data used are simple random sampling. The analytical tool used is partial least square (PLS). The results showed that simultanon the financial performance posses significant influence on capital adequacy, the research hypothesis is accepted. Partially that influence of CAR is ROA, ROE and LDR. The limitations in this study is only able to explain the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable of 4.8 percent Keyword : financial performance, capital adequacy, return on asset (ROA), return on equity (ROE), net profit margin (NPM), loan to deposit ratio (LDR).
