Abstract :
This study aims to determine the prediction of the potential bankruptcy of
the enterprise Property and Real Estate listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
(BEI) using the model Springate (S-Score) and the life of the company. Age
companies are divided into two groups of companies are aged above 16 years and
below 16 years. The method used in this research is descriptive method with the
object of research 37 Property and Real Estate companies listed in Indonesia
Stock Exchange (BEI) 2011-2015. Source of this research is secondary data in the
form of documents, such as data about the general picture company and the
company's financial statements Property and Real Estate listing on the Indonesian
Stock Exchange (BEI) for five years. Springate models show there are 19
companies which indicated bankrupt in 2011, 17 companies in 2012, 14
companies in 2013, and 17 companies in 2014, as well as 20 companies in 2015.
For ages companies with the highest percentages of companies that have age
above 16 years, which is 24% which means it will be easier to have bankruptcy.
While companies that have a lifespan of 16 years under the percentage rate of
only 23%.
