Abstract :
Islamic Rural Banks in the last two years didn?t show the same growth as Islamic General Banks and Syariah Business Units. Based on these, this research tries to compare Islamic Rural Banks and Islamic General Banks in Financial Performance side. The Analytical method used is RGEC. Research Variables used in the RGEC analysis which is variables NPF, ROA, and KPMM. Samples taken from Indonesian Central Bank and each banks website. Number of samples for Islamic Rural Banks are 15 banks, while for Islamic General Banks are 11 banks. Period time of research are 2011-2012. Hypothesis tested used mann-whitney difference test. The results of this research is that there significant difference between Islamic Rural Banks and Islamic General Banks in the NPF Variable. The NPF Ratio Of Islamic Rural Banks is above the ratio tolerated by Indonesian Central Bank. In two other variables, ROA and KPMM ratio between Islamic Rural Banks and Islamic General Banks statistically did not shown any significant difference.
