Abstract :
The current era of globalization offers a great deal of competency that is so
competent in the world of business. One of the demands faced by the business world is
the customer satisfaction that is one of the successfulness key in a company in
defending its existence of Application in Total of Quality Management (TQM) is a
technique that is often used by a manufacture company in increasing customer
satisfaction, employee satisfaction an productivity. Thus, Total Quality Management
(TQM) is a management system that lifts up such quality as a business strategy
oriented in customer satisfaction by involving all of the organization members. The
aim of this research is to evaluate the application of Total Quality Management
(TQM) to the managerial performance in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X (Persero
Surabaya. Data obtained from open interview with the related informant. Result of
the research could be concluded that the application of Total Quality Management in
PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X (Persero) Surabaya goes well, but in the company
management still low in professionalism and still lack in rules that are too binding.
