Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of the Corporate Governance implementation to the companies performance that listed in Jakarta Islamic Index on the Indonesia stock exchange from 2008 to 2012. A method of determining the sample in this research is purposive of sampling. This research using a sample listed in Jakarta Islamic Index which is composed of 19 company in the Indonesia stock exchange. This research determine the independent variable: Corporate Governance, towards the dependent variable which is the companies performance. The data that used in this research is financial statement that obtained from idx.co.id and ICMD. Data analysis conducted by a method of analysis, least partial square (PLS). This research result indicates that corporate governancevariable has influence significantly to the company performance. Keywords: Corporate Governance, The Company Performance.
