Abstract :
The working system of a piezoelectric speed bump, the pressure
produced by a vehicle when it passes through an electric speed bump, this
pressure will then shorten the spring. Spring that advances the transfer of
pressure towards the piezoelectric plate. The pressure received by the
piezoelectric plate will be released into the electrical voltage from the change in
conductivity of the structure of the piezoelectric material. The voltage generated
by the speed bump prototype without using is greater than the voltage generated
by the prototype compilation using a load so that it is more optimal. The average
voltage produced by a prototype piezoelectric speed bump with a footing of 46 kg,
50 kg, 53 kg, 60 kg, and 68 kg is 3.76 volts, 4.34 volts, 5.44 volts, 5.90 volts, and
7.52 volts. Whereas the pressure of a motorcycle with 3 different types of vehicles
with a mass of 94 kg, 109 kg, and 132 kg produces an average voltage of 4.33
volts, 4.576 volts and 5.036 volts. The voltage generated by the conversion to the
boost converter to increase the voltage in order to free the load that is the DC lamp.
