Abstract :
Hospitals as healthcare facilities develops very rapidly, both of the quantity and the use of healthcare technology. The development must be followed by improving the quality of services without neglecting Occupational Health and Safety for hospital staff. This research which aims to describe the incidence of occupational accidents at RSUP Dr. Sardjito during 2018, reviewed by descriptive epidemiology. The research was a retrospective study. The subjects of this study were hospital staff who had occupational accident during 2018. The result was analyzed by Chi Square test with a significant level of 95 % (? = 0.05) The result and conclusion of this study was occupational accident that happened by hospital staff was biological exposure 56 cases (68.3%), pure worked accidents 13 cases (15,9%), traffic accidents 10 cases (12.1%), worked accidents due to chemical exposure 3 cases (3,7%). Chi Square test showed that there is a relation between work units, years of working experience, and location of the incident with the type of occupational accidents. It was known from the result of
