Abstract :
Anemia of pregnant mother is one of the causes of death in pregnant mother because it is increasing the frequency of complications in pregnancy and childbirth such as partum bleeding and post partum bleeding. The number of anemia in pregnant mother in Indonesia according to Riskesdas in 2013 amounted to 37.1%. The prevalence of anemic pregnant mother in Bantul, Gunung Kidul, Kulonprogo and Yogyakarta are 15-39% and for Sleman under 15%. In 2013, the percentage of pregnant mother with anemia in Yogyakarta City was 24.11% and increased in 2014 to 28.1% and last in 2015 became 32.39%. Based on preliminary studies at Puskesmas Danurejan I obtained data 27 pregnant mother have anemia and 60 pregnant women got tablet Fe. Based on interviews found that pregnant mother are usually lazy to consume Fe tablet because Fe tablet has a stinging aroma and sometimes cause nausea. The purpose of this research is to know the behavior of pregnant mother about the anemia on pregnant mother in Puskesmas Danurejan I Yogyakarta City. The type of this research is descriptive with design research survey. The population on this research were all pregnant mother amounted to 68 people in Puskesmas Danurejan I. Sampling technique on this research is totally sampling. The instrument of data collection used is questionnaire. The result of this research shows that the respondent's knowledge about pregnant mother's anemia is mostly enough (48,89%), respondent?s attitude about pregnant mother's anemia more positive (53,33) than negative (46,67%), and majority of respondent's practice about pregnancy anemia is good (77,78%). The conclusion of this research is majority of the behavior pregnant mother about pregnant mother's anemia in Puskesmas Danurejan I is good.
