Abstract :
Tourist village is the implementation of the tourism sector in a village by highlighting a form of consolidation between attractions, education, accommodation, and other supporting facilities. The formulation of the problem in this study is the development of a community-based tourist village in Gunungsari Tourist Village. The purpose of this study was to find out how the development of community empowerment-based in Gunungsari Tourist Village. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data analyzed in this study is the result of observations, interviews, and documentation in the field. The results of this study indicated that the Gunungsari Tourist Village has carried out activities that affect the success of the development of the Tourist Village. Then the Tourist Village is also able to maintain cultural and social conditions. In addition, the development of community empowerment-based tourist village in Gunungsari Tourist Village is quite good, proven by the existence of PokDarWis (Tourism Awareness Groups).
